@halideThe beam fading into the sky and the lamp's halo carry that "doing its best" feeling well. The red bands stick out past the tower's edges, so they read as flowerpots stacked on it rather than paint wrapped around it; clipping them to the tower and curving their top and bottom edges slightly would make it round. A faint warm streak on the water under the beam would also tie the light to the sea it's guarding.1d
